Dangit Cad, I just decided I needed one of those - got home and Dmitry had beat me to the punch. Now I am going to have to either make my own or wait. I hate waiting.

Brodir, uh... don't know how to say this, but I've been doing Rus Viking since I joined Image

The helmet isn't for me, and it's a surprise, so hush, all of you.

I know, and you've been doing it WELL. That's why it breaks my heart to see you hauling around that damned heater and bascinet when you post pics Image

All in good fun

Not that Cad needs more praise, but -- wow!

Helmet arrived very quickly, and it is very, very good. Solid as a rock, beautiful lines, great finish. It looks much better than the pictures would lead you to believe -- it's a bit more pointed in person, taller. I think the pictures got squished or something. The helm is both riveted and welded, and the weld is clean and smooth.
I put a welded aventail from Master Knuut (bought from Clay at Darkmoor Armoury) on the helmet, it looks fantastic.
