My cuisses suck. I made them myself and they are very uncomfortable. I dread fighting from my knees because of them.
This is what I want: 14th century or milanese cuisses, 18ga if rolled edges, 16ga if not, wrap plates for back of thighs. Preferably mild steel, definatly not aluminum, good articulation and demi greaves, they must fit.
What I am willing to trade: Custom gambeson/aketon/poirpoint/arming doublet/whatever you want to call it. Gabesoided cuisses, arming caps, tunics, cotehardies, other clothes.
Materials are up to you. I have linen in natural color. I can get white linen or silk and dye it just about any color, it will just take me longer. I have cotton batting for padding. If you are looking for anything specific, email me and I'll tell you if I think I can do it.
