The knife shown would be a scale tanged skinner with brass bolsters.

The grip panels appear to be antler, as you said.
The rivets look like standard threaded cutler's rivets- My guess being based off of the faint rings around the outside edges, which normally happens when they are ground down after installing.

The brass bolsters would most likely be riveted in place, with the rivets ground and polished flush.
Bolsters of this sort are sometimes additionally silver soldered to eliminate the gap between bolster and blade- but not always.
Rivets are the only way to attach this style of bolster without brazing, so unless theres evidence of brazing, its riveted.
(Brazing on bolsters was popular for a while in the 70s...But it can damage the heat treat- so that technique fell out of favor. I started making knives around the time makers stopped using that method, so I know of it- but never used it.)

Damascus became popular after brazed bolsters fell out of favor, so its most likely riveted.

Its not a period design, but is a nice looking knife.
Value on something like this varies all over the place.

Usually, damascus steel adds value; but asking how much its worth is like asking how long is a piece of string....

The answer being, its worth whatever someone will pay you for it.

Theres cheap, mass produced, imported damascus that sells for less than a knife of regular steel...From some makers.

The best way to proceed is to determine a price you are comfortable asking and can live with, and go from there with a notation that you will entertain offers.

Based on previous, similar posts from others... Just asking "whats it worth" won't generally get you very far on this particular board, I'm afraid.

So now you have a retail value.
