14th Century armor for sale
NEW ITEMS ADDED!
A couple items back on the market, just in time for Christmas. The arms and poleyns are boxed up together already and can be shipped immediately.
A bunch of items, all in excellent condition. I'm trading up to more historical pieces, but all this stuff is in like new condition, only worn for display. Please ask if you have questions.
Item 6: 14th century spaulders
16 ga mild steel
7 3/4" across, 10" long
$50
Item 4: 14th century Poleyns
16ga mild steel
5.5" across the knee, 8.5" from center of knee to top of demi-cuisse, 8.5" from center of knee to bottom of demi-greave.
$100
A custom scabbard made for an Albion Knight. Hand dyed leather stitched to a wooden core, with tooled dragon motif. The belt measures 60" total from buckle to strapend, and is decorated with historical brass fittings, buckle and strapend. I'm also selling a matching dagger scabbard with the same color and tooling, and the Arms and Armor Crusader dagger that the scabbard was made for. I'm selling this scabbard for $250, but it's actually worth more than that. The matching dagger scabbard is an additional $50 and the Crusader dagger I'll throw in for another $90. This dagger is in brand new condition, and sells for $198 on Arms and Armor's website http://www.armor.com/dagg130.html.

A gerbil on PCP is of tactical advantage if you know how to use it right.

Re: 14th Century armor for sale
I can't believe more people haven't snapped these items up yet.
Re: 14th Century armor for sale
I've thought about it, but I'm not really looking for anything right now. Thanks for the offer though Tim.tim_Belcher wrote:Looking for anything in trade?

EDIT: If anyone is interested in anything listed above, but you're uncertain about the quality of the items from the pictures, I can take more pics or add more description or measurements. These items were stuff I got last year for my living history display but have since changed my impression, so they are all in excellent shape. Here's a picture of me wearing some of the stuff: the arms, the poleyns and the chevron shaped spaulders:
And here's another shot of the arms and the spaulders:
This is pretty good quality stuff, and the price is cheap compared to buying brand new armor - which this almost is since it's only been worn for display!

Re: 14th Century armor for sale
Hey a question from someone who is no good at measurements: how tall are you? I'm sort of considering the arms if they're the right size... I shouldn't really spend the money, but gee they look great, and at such a good price... so I'm very tempted anyway...

How long is your forearm from the point of the elbow to the bump of bone on your wrist? And from the point of the elbow to the top of the shoulder? I'm 6'2" if that helps.

All the items pictured at the top are still available: helm, arms, legs, spaulders and a gambeson.
Re: 14th Century armor for sale
What color is the gambeson...I am 6'5 375 lbs and have a 54inch chest...is the XL really going to fit (the sizing on the website says it should...)?

I'm 6'2" and 250lb and it's a good fit for me, so I doubt it would fit you properly.
It's black, by the way.

Who made the scabbard? $250 is for just the sword scabbard / belt, not including the dagger scabbard / dagger?

Re: 14th Century armor for sale
That's what I thought, wanted to make sure I was reading it clearly since he talks about the dagger scabbard then says "this scabbard for $250", which I first read as referring back to the dagger scabbard (last thing mentioned), and then he says dagger scabbard as additional and I had to re-read.William Lee wrote:Knight Sir James wrote:$250 is for just the sword scabbard / belt, not including the dagger scabbard / dagger?

My main curiosity is who made it and why it would be worth more than $250... it looks like a very nice scabbard but I don't know much about valuing them and only know a few makers at that price level. I have an Albion Knight without scabbard, so it's a potential purchase for me.

Re: 14th Century armor for sale
Can you post a better picture of the scabbards or a little more description. I can't tell from the pics, but it looks like there is a missing rosette on the dagger scabbard and is there a long scrape on the sword scabbard? Neither is necessarily a deal breaker, but...
