I am getting into Roman reenactment as well as the medieval. I need a belt and baldric but want something a little different than what museum replicas has to offer. Does anyone know who makes a decent roman belt and baldric?

See
http://www.birkatraders.com/catalog/antiquity.htm#A3Australian, but used to supplying overseas. Work out what you want and I suspect Peter will give you a quote for the belts fully assembled.

I'll second the recommendation of Peter at Birka Traders. Very good customer relations, no problem with overseas issue (I'm in the States).
And neat merchandise, too.

Hi,
I occasionally make parts for the balteus. You can see some I've made in the past here:

You can click on the thumbs for more info and larger pics. They are 2" x 2-1/2" if I remember correctly. I wanted to make them as long as possible while staying within historical parameters so you'd need fewer per belt.
