Positive review for Foxknife

Post by RoundTop »

I know that this is probably restating the obvious, but had good experience with Foxknife.com

Ordered a hilt, pommel, and dagger hardware. Apart from one e-mail going missing (probably on my end), he got it out immediately after confirming my order.

Received the parts 3 days later (USPS).

hilt and pommel were mild steel made by Hessian Ironworks, which had a black paint applied for protection. Both are excellent quality. I used 320 grit sandpaper to remove most of the paint and then acetone for the last bits.

dagger parts were galvanized steel (no problems) and stainless steel (some sticky residue on the back, but it will come off easily).

I am very pleased with this order; the price, quality of product, and service.

Edit: Side-note - wow, gave myself a blister on my thumb while sanding last night. whoops.
