SS bascinet halves for sale.

Here's a tentative heads up. A friend of mine ordered a set of SS bascinet halves from Vulcan's forge Dave Rylak, our very own Cet. The problem being, the helm needed to be done for July 5th and there's just no way I'll be able to meet the deadline short of buying a set of ball stakes and a welder, which I simply don't have the funds for at the moment. I am hoping that someone here might be on the lookout for just the thing. The helm halves are 14ga SS, skirted and mostly dished. What remains is the point to be drawn, the back to be curved to match the halves, ground to fit and welded together.
If anyone is interested, I'm looking to recoup the original purchase price only, not to make a profit. 45 u.s.$ plus Canadapost shipping (or equivalent in Can$) and it's yours.
FYI, this in no way reflects on vulcan's forge quality of products, everyone is more that satisfied with the group order we got from Cet, it's just impossible for us to meet the deadline on the helm so we've had to go another route.
