Testing the waters...

I know a way to make a nearly indestructable buckler, that also happens to be perfectly legit for persian and middle eastern personae in period, and am wondering how many buckler men are out there, and if people would generally be interested... it's the kind of thing that's easier, if there's demand, to make in batches than one at a time, and I'm going to do at least one for my own purposes... I don't know squat about constructing bosses for them, since everything I've seen is use a leather strap on the back, but if there are people who think they might be interested in checking it out when they're made, I"ll obtain the materials for it in slightly higher bulk.

Not for sale yet, this is just testing interest so I know how much space to justify taking up in my garage...

Well, when I make them up, they're likely to be fairly small... I'm probably going to get the rawhide from a source for drums, so probably not much bigger than 15-18"
