how much would people pay for 5000 6/8" ID butted rings.(i know it's an odd size)

i could try and get them smaller. but that was just the size rod i had.each order would be treated as a custom order so it would be 1 customer at a time. i suspose they are good for beginners who need that little extra room. i will have a site up within the next month so i will get back to you as soon as i can.

i'd say there is round about 30,000 rings in a typical hauberk. maybe you could try a bishops mantle that's about 5,000 rings. i was thinking maybe $50 for every 5,000 rings. that seems reasonable to say that they are hand wound and hand cut over many hours.

In 5/16" rings, probably.
In 3/4" rings, definately not, unless you're built like an ogre (or an orc

i'd say it is about 1.5mm. galvanized. it's no rust on it and it's been sat outside in a huge storm so it's definately rust proof.
