Any interest in 21ga Ti sheet?

Just like the title says. I have a lead on some 21 ga Ti sheets. 4x3 foot. Prolly going to be around 100$/sheet plus shipping if it works out. Any one looking to go Ti?

how hard is it to cut and shape that guage TI?
need special tools?

Never worked with it. Guessing bandsaw, jigsaw, or bev should cut it. Hammer and dish will form. I do know it likes to return to flat so you do have to over form it a bit.

I use .020 for lightweight grieves.
too expensive for me.
easy to cut grind and hammer.
very light gauge very useful for scales and the like.
very lightweight.
not useful for splints.
search archive for working Titanium.
lots of posts on the topic.

as mentioned above alloy type is super important.
commercial pure(cp1 and cp2) can be bent with your fingers and is soft as lightly tempered alum.

Sorry folks. Mute point now. They made other plans for it. And as horrifing as it sounds it looks like it will be ground up and sent for recycling. Which sucks cause i had ideas!

Thats to bad TI sheet is hard to get at anything close to scrap prices...
Even Cp1&2 can be used to make excellent jewlery once polished and anodized.
