I have been working on these 14th century belt Plackets and I know they are technically not armour but they are metal, 16g brass. I've been thinking of trying to go into production. What do you folks think. Drop me a line at seabrig29@aol.com if you are interested. all other comments are welcome as well.

so far this is what I'm thinking.
Finished : I cant really do them for less that $3.50. (without brass strip for mounting.)
with the brass tabs on the back for mounting. $4.50
and mounted on a belt $5.25(I would find the leather.
Oh and I'll throw in one free one just in case something happens.
I would be more that happy to find the leather for someone and send you the plackets unattached for a discounted price.
Each piece takes up 2 1/4 inch so measure where you want the belt to sit, remember they lay on the hip not the waist, and divided by 2.25
The attachment is done with small brass tabs soldered onto the back and punched through the leather and bent over. Its very secure.
I don’t know if this sounds like a lot or not but the work that goes into finishing these at this price really only provides me with a modest wage per hour. Certainly less than what I make at my real job. Let me know if you guys think this price rang is way out there. Thanks for the comments.
Tell you friends, heck even your enemies. I'm open for business. $20 down and I'll guarantee a shipping date, with discount if missed.
thank you all for your support.
If interested send my your hip measurements on where you want the belt to sit and I will send back a quote. Seabrig29@aol.com
Thanks to all
