Looking for info on David Halger (fireside armory)

Ok well a friend of mine sent me this e-mail. I don't remember him posting anything about it here but I'm posting it now anyway.
David if you're reading this you need to e-mail your customer and get things straightened out. If you don't know who it is e-mail me and I'll put you in touch.
Or if anyone elce knows anything my friend would be pretty happy to hear it.

Also, do you know much about David Hagler of Fireside Armoury? I'm not very impressed at all....he owes me a munition bacinet with removable bargrill or $120, and I better get one or the other real soon. Back in July I inquired on Arador and the Archive about wanting a helm, and a bunch of people responded, and out of all the quotes that were given to me, I went with Hagler because of the price and the promised delivery date. He said he could have the helm to me in a week. Now, we all know the stories of armourers that dont deliver (personal, medical, ADD disorder whatever) so I went into it knowing full well I wouldnt get it in a week. Not a big deal. I sent him $60 via Pay Pal on July 22nd. time goes by, and after countless e-mails back and forth, he finally says the helm has been done and he sent it a week ago...that was like the end of august. I hadnt yet paid the balance owed, and told him as such. another week goes by and he replies oh, there must have been a mixup, he certainly wouldnt ship an item that hadnt been paid for (no shit Captain Obvious). He then says my helm *IS* done, he was just waiting for the final payment (of course he never mailed me saying Dave Womble, your helm is ready to ship upon receipt of the final $60) so that day, September 2nd I think it was, I sent him the final $60 via paypal. another week or so goes by, and I ask him where my helm is...did he ship it yet? if so, HOW...UPS ground? USPS parcel post? Priority? Antarctic 6 Month Freight? whats the deal, when should I expect it? He says a few days later it should be there by the 9th of Sept.....thats it..1 sentence...he didnt answer my question about how he shipped it. no tracking number, nothing. Well, here it is October 1st, and I have no helm, nor have I heard from him in almost a month, despite the at least 2 e-mails Ive sent since. Whats this guys deal? I decided to go with him because I hadnt ever heard anything negative about him. Now he wont even answer my e-mails. I'm pretty damn annoyed.
Maybe you could ask around the archive if theres some issues with him? maybe his house burned down or something? In late July, early august he said he was having trouble with his ISP and e-mail, but he's e-mailed me since then....*sigh* I just feel helpless, and know I'm most likely gonna be screwed out of $120, which as you well know, is quite a bit of cash for guys like us.
Sorry to vent on ya, but nobody on the Archive or Arador seems to give a shit, since nobody has replied to my post.
