armour ripoff question...

OK....

its been so long that I actully forget who started it...but it was the second aluminum lamellar plate order that was done over the archive....
who did it? and has anyone actually gotten the plates they ordered?

I did the third one and wasnt involved in the fourth, but I did order $80+ of plates from the second order and never got them and what to try to track the person down...

Was the order started a little over a year ago? If so, it was done by armoured hedgehog, who moved and never posted here again. I believe he is in Texas. I got screwed for 400 plates. Trimariansoldier was in on this as well, as were others. There was also someone on the archive who knew this guy, and visited him at his house and tried to help us out, but I can't remember who it was. I tried emailing the originator of the order months ago, and never got a response, and have since lost the email addy. I don't believe anyone ever got plates or a refund.

If that's the guy your looking for, he's moved back to MN, but I don't have an email address or contact information. However I do see him about every other month. I would be willing to mention something about this Thread, but I really don't want to be put in the middle.
