Looking for Japanese "Samuri" Armour

Samuri is in quotes because I'm sure it's not the historically correct name.
Anyway, a co-worker is looking for some historically correct (in shape and looks) Japanese armour. He didn't specifically say what type, but I know this will most likely be a display piece (except maybe on Halloween). He said plastic would be ok if the shape/look was correct.
Not sure on his price range.
