Hello Armourers,

A "internet challenged" friend of mine is looking to complete his Milanese export inspired kit.

He needs the following pieces:

Mantle style gorget
Pauldrons/Spaulders appropriate for foot combat.
Full arms
Full legs with a non-encasing greave.
Gauntlets
and perhaps Sabbatons.

It must be in stainless, must be well crafted, must be SCA heavy legal & practical.
Munition grade only armourers need not apply.
This armour will be pointed in a period fashion to an appropriate foundation garment.
Show me what you have made in this area and provide me with non electronic contact information. If I like the look of your past work, and your price for the above mentioned items are not too outrageous, I will recommend you for the commission.

complete his harness. sounds like he needs to start it.

He has pieces now that are impractical for SCA combat.

He's looking for exchange pieces to fit the theme of the suit that are designed with a "period" look and feel but allow for greater freedom of movement.

Still only a handfull of armourer's have contacted me.

Your only going to get a handful of armourers. Thats pretty specific stuff he wants. I would approach Historic Enterprises, that is within their range of specialty and you wont find much closer to the original shape and materials. Jeff's work is top notch. Gwens is very nice as well. Foundation garment and harness at one stop, what could possibly be better.

Sauske also has some really nice work, I know he does a lot on SS, but his list when last I asked was reeeeally long.
