Just finished this after having to set it aside for months.

I have been asked a few times for shorter/smaller 14th century rondel daggers, but never had suitable steel for one until recently.
This one has a 7 inch blade, double edged and with thick, quatrefoil shaped guard and pommel discs.
Carbon steel, edged and sharpened.
Made from quarter inch stock, and it has distal taper.

This one is based on a 14th century dagger that came out of the Thames in England.

Its not my typical razor edge...I could not sharpen so narrow a blade to that standard without leaving it too fragile for my tastes.
So its a sharpened ice pick of a dagger...Which is what the originals generally were.

The grip is lathe turned Katalox- A really dense Mexican hardwood that I love when I can get it.
Polishes up beautifully.
Full, peened tang and very solid.

As this one is smaller than my usual rondels, the price is somewhat lower.

I do not expect to make another like this one, as the piece of steel dictated the shape and length.
This one will also be unique.

Price is $100 plus $15 shipping to US addresses.
I can ship this one out of the country, as it has a hardwood grip and no restrictions from US customs.

Buyers from outside the US will need to give me an address so I can get them an exact shipping quote.

Does not come with a sheath.
We can talk, but I am not sure I have suitable leather to make a sheath for this one on hand.

Thanks for looking.
