I stopped making rondel daggers for general sale a year or two ago, but I had one last one lying around.
So I made it up and here it is.

Carbon steel blade. A bit over 9 inches long and single edged, in 3/16th inch thick stock.

Very sharp. Rough mirror finished. (Yes, those are water droplets in the photo- it was sprinkling while I was shooting the pics...Obviously, I wiped it down dry after.)

Rondels are 4130 chrome moly steel.

Cherry wood grip.

Suitable for 14 to 15th century impressions, and quite capable of cutting chores around camp.

Thick, peened tang.

I do not plan to make any more rondel daggers any time soon, outside of commissioned work.

Four years ago I would have bit at this. Maureen and I even thought about buying the rondel but the big question was "When will we use this, considering we haven't been to a SCA type event for over three years, and we are downgrading to being casual fencers?"

This is a GREAT sale. I'm surprised the 14th century mafia isn't out in force here.

I dunno.
Maybe the timing is just wrong.

But I am starting to wonder if I should keep making knives.
