Who is making bazubands these days?

Post by Md02geist »

I'd like a new set that fit me better; I currently have a set of Haroun-made bazubands that have never fit right, and getting this problem corrected has been impossible.

Anyone making light but strong bazubands that are black? Thanks!

Talk with Trovaldr Skaldic.com
He should be able to give you an idea on production time if he doesn't have you size in black.

Is anyone making them in tempered stainless spring steel or titanium?

Tons of eastern Europeans are making them in titanium.

I personally recommend Vadim Mernechinko on Facebook.

Highly suggest him.

Prefer someone in the US, if possible.

Then good luck.

I know one guy who will make them in titanium and he's not taking orders.

I know one guy who made good ones in spring steel for me and he said he would never make another set after how much of a pain mine were.

Sorry. I hijacked your thread a bit there.
Hope my question about lighter materials didn't take things off topic for you.

No, you're fine. I probably would have asked similar anyways.

I just came up with a new pattern for a soupcan titanium bauzuband.
22ga(.032) weights 1/2lb each.

have one pair available that was custom made to bad measurements.

will post pics, dimensions and measurements later today.

Trying to wrap my head around "soupcan bauzuband". :)
Half pound each sounds great.

hi there
I use this pattern for the back of the bazubands.
almost impossible to work the harder Ti alloys into the complex curve needed.
the soft stuff is no problem but I stopped using the nondurable Ti 20 years ago.

I use smaller stainless rivets as I stopped using brass..
