Large mycenaean greek shield
Not sure of name or historical detail. Boeotian or Dipylon ?
Well made, solid wood, covered in leather in front. Boss and accents are real bronze, not plated metal. Straps in back are partially detached. Handle feels very solid.
Large, over 3.5 feet - 44 inches x 43 inches approx
Asking $180. Reasonable offers considered.
