The Armour Archive

As the topic says...I am looking for decent 14th cent. armor,most specifically Arms and Legs and hope to get them from the same person.
this will be used for SCA fighting and worn with a gambeson.

Any armorers out there NOT going to gulf wars ?

Greetings Newfghtr, I would recommend to you Lewis Moore, he has a fast turn around time, very good quality work and all at a very fair price.
He kept in close contact with me letting me know when he actually started and finished etc. and answered any questions that I had. Some armourers will give you great up front service and respond fast to your beck and call only until they get your commission and then your at their mercy.
I will admit when I got my stainless fancy Bascinet with the different visors I was really surprised with the quality of his work and his actual customer service throughout. He is definately top notch and he wont kill your wallet...

I would post a picture of my bascinet but I am still waiting to attatch an aventail that was told to me would have been here last week from another armourer, Hmmmm..... Sorry to use you post as a pseudo-dig but when it comes to my money and something I buy I expect results.
