Mandrake Armoury Products update

Post by Roderick »

Tought I'd post here the status on some of our products that have been the subject of discussion on other threads:

Vitus's writtings - We have all four books available and are shipping orders as quickly as possible.

Low Profile Thrusting tips - Thanks for all the orders, they have shipped today. We have a version for two handed weapons in the works.

Foam Mace heads - Just shipped off one to the Society Earl Marshal for his opinion.

Hilts and Pommels - we've just recieved a small advance shipment of pommels that have been out of stock. All back orders will be shipped ASAP. We're taking the time to contact the customers just to make sure they are still interested before charging.

1050 Carbon Gauntlets - I've been really busy on all these other projects and have not gotten anything to show on this project yet. My regrets are directly shown by my not having a set myself.

Gauntlet production system - Over the vacation week I've had a chance to rethink this idea and am now having second thoughts. I'll have to think about it some more. Thanks for everyones opinions and suggestions it's been a interesting concept if nothing else.

Fiber-glass spears - It's looking like we will not be able to order a new batch until Pennsic. We are investing that money into the new products, sorry for the inconvience.

I-33 bucklers - Will be instock by Pennsic, and we'll have two differnt sizes and weights.

If there are other items I've forgotten to mention let me know.

You forgot my Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom Monkey Skull:

Please advise when this will be ready, and if it was ever deemed SCA legal for use in the lists.

Thanks,
Karl

Greg,

If you want to brainstorm on gauntlet production methods, I'd be willing go through some scenarios with you.

Hope you guys had a good vacation!

Rod: Sorry for the thread-hijack. I send you and Gretchen a message (in reply to her earlier one), but your anti-spam suddenly decided I was threatening or something and bounced the message. Please take my email (noyes@jcom.home.ne.jp) off your spam list. I really want to work out the details on that order.

Thanks
