Leather Gauntlet Kits?

Hi

I'm new to this forum but have read through certain areas of the Want Ads. I have seen some posts regarding Gauntlet Kits. Most are steel or SS, I've even seen aluminum. My kit is all leather with the exception of Helm and knees. I was wondering if the leather guys out there would be interested in making leather gauntlet kits.
Including pre-cut patterns for clamshell
Pre-cut articulation leather
drilled holes for rivets
rivets needed for assembly
document for assembly including various hardening techniques with pictures?

I realize patterns are usually closely guarded secrets. I made a pair of leather clams myself, they work but I wouldn't pole arm in them. They are just not strong enough.

You could do a plastic or metal clam, with a thin leather covering over them.

The idea is that just about anyone with even basic tools can with care and little effort treat, shape and assemble such a kit if it is already cut and punched. Many SCA types do not have access to metal shops etc to assemble steel gauntlet kits. Treated properly, leather can be just as hard as plastic or metal in some cases. A leather Kit would be fairly low cost to produce and easy to assemble.
