I am looking for cloth coifs. Quilted or not. Any help would be appreciated. I am a college student so money is of the escence. Thanks

Conan, you can find some nice linen coifs at historicenterprises.com
they generally run about $12-14. and they have either late peroid 15th century or 12-13 century ones.
also just for flavor Revival clothiers also make linen coifs.

Plain cloth coifs are easy to make -- you could probably get a half-yard of linen, a pair of scissors, a spool of thread, and a pack of needles for less than the price of a pre-made coif.

(Okay, you could borrow the scissors, if you're that short on cash.) :)

Thank you for your responses. Icefalcon, those look outstanding and I would love to pick one up but $45 seems a bit much for my budget. Looks like I might have to make one myself.
