looking to buy reasonably priced but not butt ugly gauntlets

Okay, here's the deal... I am working on circa 1347 gear. I need gauntlets. I don't mind paying a reasonable fee to a craftsman , but I am not looking to refinance the national debt here. Furthermore, I have a need for these sooner rather than later and I am not lookin to be held up by disreputable or absent minded armorers.
Anyone got a suggestion as to whom they would go if they were me? Is Baron Alail Horsefriend still out there?

Contact Lewis Moore. You will not find a better made pair of gauntlets and service for the price. Also look on ebay. He posts armor alot as seekerclm

I just bought a helmet (klappvisor bascinet with grill interchange) from Louis (I'm doing the Crecy-Poitiers period as well) and I can tell you he was a joy to work with, and his gear was reasonably historic, without breaking the bank. Did I mention fast delivery? I intend to get most of my kit from him.
Cheers,
Strongbow

These are the only gauntlets I recommend to people I like:

They are 18g SS, and have what I refer to as 'the best thumbs in the Known World'.
