Shot in the dark I know, but Id like to see about procuring a Stainless German Gothic Salet, either buying it or trading armor for it.
23.5 brow line circumference.
Something along the lines of Waldryks http://home.mchsi.com/~waldryk/helms/he ... sallet.htm

I might even be interested in a mild version I could paint black.
Please post pics and a price...
If I dont buy it someone might.

Ben at Dragon Forge Armoury just finished a 13 gauge stainless helm that greatly improves upon that design for His Grace Duke Sir Finn Herjolfsson here in Midrealm. I'd try giving him a call at 513-761-8477 or email him at bscheiner@fuse.net if interested - Finn is a good friend of mine and he loves his new helm.

So his old one is for sale is that what you are getting at?
I am only interested in something that could ship this week, not looking to get a commission started.

I dont believe Ive ever seen his helms though, so I will go take a peek...

Ah, he made it for Finn but it only took him like 8 days to do it.

The improvement is that Ben's salletia looks much more like a real sallet - the lines on Finn's helm are *much* tighter and the grille is better.

I think Ben only charged like $50 more than Waldryk to push the order too (Waldryk's queue is until next year).

His home number is 513 923 4755, all I know about his current queue is that my greaves are supposed to be done by Thanksgiving (I'm not affiliated with them in any way, just a happy customer myself).

Hope this helps,
Karl
