Selling my 750 Commando

Post by white mountain armoury »

Im attempting to clean house of many many things, and am moving all my bikes.
I know this is an unlikely place to sell a bike, but we get alot of traffic here.
72 Norton Commando Interstate. Combat 750 motor, i believe the fastest bike Norton made. Numbers match
At this time it is not running. but is complete and has many extra parts as well. Original Amal carbs are present but have been replaced with mikuni carbs
Dropped cafe bars, 2 into one header, fresh dunlops front and back, chrome cases and tranny and swingarm. Motor has recent head work upping the power of an already high compression motor.
Although the paint is crap the bike is in nice shape.
Im want 1500.00 check e-bay and your want advertisers you wont often find a norton in any condition for this price.
It has been converted to eletronic ignition, the bike needs its fuel sys plumbed and needs some wiring.
Im not posting pics, but will take plenty for someone who is serious.

If you'd done this a few years ago, I'd have been all over it, but I've given up the vintage bike scene, though there is a TT500 that cries to me for rescue every time I see it in the weeds downtown.
