any interest in keyring chainmail?

Ok, first, period nuts...please be patient with me....
Years ago I bought a large number of split ring keyrings.

The rings have an inside diameter of about 1/2" or 13mm, depending on how ya measure.

Anyhow, I do not know the total amount of rings I have, but the pile is about 30lbs.

I have in the past made it into a 4 in 1 hauberk with full sleeves and knee length for a man about 5'8" 180 lbs with rings left over.

I fought a bit in this in the SCA, and only broke a few rings, so I think it may be durable enough for this, plus its incredibly easy to modify the pattern.

I have a large torso rectangle done currently (I was redoing it yet again), and a few smaller rectangles, so this is more than 2/3's done.

I would be willing to part with the pile if anyone has any interest.
I would like to get my ring cost out of it, which was 200.00.

i'm not interested in buying but...

if you are using 1/2 inch rings you might want to use a tighter pattern than e4-1

Lol...I did it once in 6 in one...looked cool too.
I wanted to try it in a more period style, but ran out of 'oomph' to get it done...
