I was going to wait until I had a banner flying overhead before unveiling this on the Archive, but I can't seem to get a response out of JT.

I have founded an online research library, where anyone engaging in scholarly work can place their research for download by the public.
Unlike a magazine subscription, you pay only for the articles that you want, and the scholar publishing/reprinting the work receives 50% of the gross receipts.

The headline slogans are: "Instant access to scholarly works," and "Contribute to your field 24/7 Worldwide."

I believe in these slogans. Others might also be "help support your local scholar," and "no subject too obscure." Unlike buddies of mine who have been refused their choice of literary topic because the author wasn't well-known to faculty, ScholarsVoices exposes intellectual work to the free market, at a price any grad student can afford.

The current site is at fledgling status: we are looking for contributors, and hope to eventually hold thousands of works online. Placing work with SV is and will always remain totally free of charge. If you are involved in research, please consider placing some of it with us: you may find out that support for your work is right around the corner.

There is no personal aggrandizement here: although I have work in print, you will notice that the only work of mine listed is in the "free works" section. It is an adaptation of undergraduate thesis on the Hussite Revolution. My goal in this is not to market my own work, but to actively support the scholarly community.

Come take a look. Our offerings are fairly limited so far, but I think you'll like what you see.
