I have some of the spring steel armour from Histpric enterprises that I am very happy with. Problem is, he doesnt do in stock pieces anymore and I'm wondering if there are any armorers out there that do spring steel and have a quick turn around?

Thanks for any info!

Patrick Thadden is as fast as custom gets, more important he likely has an open queue, Mac and Hedgecock were booked when I was looking for legs a few months ago.

I had a chance to visit Patrick Thaden's shop a couple of years ago and chat with him for while as he was doing a final fitting of some armor for a friend. If I ever get to the point where I can afford my dream custom bascinet, he will be the first one I talk to.

I'm confused, Jeremy...

Their site says they still carry in-stock spring armour, and they had spaulders, arm harnesses and legs in-stock up until fairly recently. They've still got a couple of the spring globose breastplates in stock.

Is this a recent policy change then that you're aware of?

Take care my friend,

Christian

Boss- have you tried Geoffrey the Younger? If he's booked, I can provide contact info for a friend/teacher in TX who's very good and has been playing of late with heat-treated carbon.
