Gwen sent me a pourpoint several months ago and due to a seemingly endless steam of operations, hospital stays, doctors visits, etc. I was not able to get to this review until now. I have been dealing with Gwen for twenty years (her efforts made me the best dressed king the East had to that point and her work then would stand up to even the very best of what our kings are wearing today) and have never had a bad dealing with her. This pourpoint is as good as any other Gwen item I ever owned, it is well made, period looking, and durable (trust me, if it will stand up to my abuse there is little that will hurt it) and after I lose the weight (20 pounds or so) that I gained with the four knee operations I had earlier this year I hope to use it with my new armour that I will be starting after Pennsic. She and Jeff will be at Pennsic and I would highly recommend stopping by.

Gosh, has it been 20 years??? Wow, time sure do fly. I bet most of these people have no idea I even -know- you!

Anyway, just wanted to thank Ron for the endorsement and to say these are the pourpoints we're making for Mandrake Armoury. If you'd like to see what Ron is talking about in person stop by and see Roderick at Mandrake in his usual location on the Street of Gold.

If you're not going to Pennsic, Rod has these on his Mandrake Armoury website.

There's even a photo of Rod on their front page, looking rather dashing in one. 8)

20 years huh? I bet that was the last time anyone saw you in anything besides a tunic.....
