Armet wanted

Post by jeffsandersjkd »

I am looking for an Armet for next seasons jousting. If anyone has one or knows a good place to get one at a reasonable price please let me know. I found one I liked a lot but it was over $900 and that is way out of my budget for this piece. It was nice though :-)
Thanks for your help,
Jeff

Armet

Post by Ken Zicker »

Jeff, I'm in the process of making one now, if you don't find someone to help you in the next couple of weeks, drop me a line I'll show the pic's of it completed, if you like it we can talk. The price range will be 600.00 +/-I'm in las Vegas and if you decide you'd like to work with me we can split up the cost, 1/2 down 1/2 on completion
Thanks
Ken

Windrose had an armet at Pennsic that was freakin' amazing, Clang also had one a few years ago at Blackstone Raid that was really cool. You might want to check them out to see what the backlog and price is.

Ken, have you considered getting a website up with some super quality photos? I'd like to see the range of your work. If you're doing armets and finger gauntlets and tuliped vambraces your work is of great interest to me.
