forged dagger blank for sale

Greetings all! I have a dagger blank for sale for those who would like to finish a knife on their own.

It is forged from W-1 steel, and will be delivered already heat treated. The finish will be at 120 grit, and I can give instructions on how to finish it further on request.

The blade itself is 11 3/4 inches overall, with the cutting edge measure 6 3/4, the tang measuring 4 3/4, and the ricasso measuring the remainder. The tang is long enough that it could be peened over a disc for a rondel dagger, or it could be threaded on a dirk. There are lot of possibilities open for this design. It is a little over 3/16 of an inch thick at the spine.

Anytime you're buying damascus anything, the sell should be able to tell you the combination of materials. I didn't see any listed on that webpage, thereforge I would never buy it. If you're looking for a damascus knife blank, email me a drawing of the shape and what damascus pattern you'd like and I can give you a quote. Mine will perform better than the ones linked and will have higher contrast.
