I am getting ready to do some LH reconstructions and need the following, gents:

1. Parts cut from steel to dimensions/sketches for archery equipment. (3 sets needed).
2. An oval, shallow skullcap with holes drilled in the edge for an aventail attachment. (1 needed, 23" head)
3. Four small iron hinges.

1.
I will provide sketches with grave finds reconstructed to the quiver here:
http://happycrow.blogspot.com/2005/11/iron-parts-for-quiver.html

There are several pieces required:
a. Iron pieces through which belt loops will run. (On edge)
b. "Horizontal" bands for bottom and "gathering" of quiver. Will need to be long enough to accomodate a 10" x 6" oval and a 8" by 4.5" oval, respectively. Need not be wider than .5" and I am happy to bend them into shape.
c. "Vertical" reinforcing bars as shown, sufficient to go all the way around the quiver with an inch to inch-and-a-half spread between reinforcing bars.
d. All needed holes drilled and burrs removed. Nails/tacks in either iron or brass sufficient for all needed holes.

The metal does not need to be thick at all: in fact, it should NOT be armour-weight, and the bands under "b" should be thin enough to bent by hand.

2. The skullcap should NOT come down to approach the ears, but should be dished/raised only very slightly, such that it would be invisible under a large felt hat. All holes and edges should be deburred.

3. Small hinges should be roughly 3" x 2" and fairly lightweight, with mounting holes already drilled (four holes per hinge). Again, everything should be deburred.
---------------------
None of this is particularly rocket science for anybody with a Beverly or other shear and a Sharpie, and who has scrap steel hanging around (okay, a chisel would help for the female portion of the hinges) ...unfortunately, all my equipment is for leather and wood, not metal. People with whom I've worked before (and therefore have an idea about dependability) get preference, but I will consider any bid within the next week. I will also need metal parts cut for a Cuman breastplate (the shoulder guards and sternum protector), but that is a ways down the road while I wait on the leather.

Thanks in advance.

Send me the sketches and I'll work up a quote.
