Review: Zenkicker, Spring-Steel polyens

I just wanted to say that I am incredibly happy with my spring polyens that Ken did for me.
Not only was he FAST, but he was very, very courteous and thoughtful. I had forgotten to include some notes on how I was pointing them and he made it a point to ask me BEFORE he fired the steel, saving me several drill bits in the process, I am sure.
I'll try to get some pics up when I get the padded chausses done!
Well done, Ken!
Thanks!
Jonah

Wade, here's a pic of a set I did before Jonah's, but they are the same.

Ken knows his stuff AND he's very civil AND he communicates AND he's fast AND he's cheap AND his armour is excellent....
But, doing everything perfectly will wear you down quick.
With armourers, I've usually had to choose between:
1. Civil
2. Knowledgeable
3. Communicates
4. Fast
5. Historical and SCA usable armour
6. Cheap
But, usually you can only choose two...sometimes three

Having someone who does all six is as rare as a six-day newbie winning Crown without a single stick landing on him -- rare, but theoretically possible.
I hope he raises his prices before he burns out.
I have a very pair of legs, greaves and sabatons on order, and he's finished the legs and they look NICE!
