I thought I'd let folks here know. This week looks to be a little slower than normal... so I put a few pair of 16ga Stainless Steel mitten gauntlets up on ebay. The links are...

3day auction...
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... %3AIT&rd=1

5day auction...

7day auction...

It looks like the ebay software only took the first picture of my gif animation. The full gif is located at...

http://www.wardmetal.com/medieval_armor.html

The sizing chart is at...

My new website has changed a bit... but will continue to change as I remember to send my web-guy fresh pictures of projects. (and when I remember to snag the digital camera from the wife before she leaves for work.) :)

If this weeks does prove to be slow... I'll try to stop by the normal forums to put in my "2 cents worth" on something. It's been a long time since I just dropped in to say "Hi". I do have some semi-humorous tales of others opinions of my 16ga Titanium gauntlets to share. <still shaking my head over them> :P

I hope all are happy, healthy and profitable!

Hehe, thanks. Ya, I've been back for a while. Just been busy and keeping a low profile.

I've been doing a few events here and there... have scheduled to do some more Pell classes in the upcoming weeks/months... and doing a lot with the new Plasma/CNC Table. It took longer to learn the software than I expected and then I've been more busy with it on the Mundane front.

However, like I said on the auctions... I'm in a slow time at the moment. Waiting on word of different bids for contractors. It seems like with all the building going on in NW Arkansas... there is a shortage of custom ornamental metalwork. Lol... it's odd and a bit funny... but, contractors and customers still call it "Ornamental Ironwork." Even though, the vast majority of it is normal steel. Also, they seem to think it is so "hard to do" and takes "an old time skill that few have anymore". I just snicker because I find it so much easier than armor! I mean, I make them give me drawings/plans on what they want. Then it's just order supplies, fire up the hotsaw and the welder. Sometimes the Plasma Table. Maybe... and I mean ~maybe~ I'll get to use my bender to make a scroll or swirly piece that is not normal! :)

Well, I'd better get out to the shop. A friend gave me an old style heavy vise that I wand to install. (I'd broke yet another imported 6inch vise last week.)

Thanks again for the kind words,

Andy

Yeah, I saw your site. I need to shoot you some specs on a simple decorative fence I want made. See what the price would be.

Looks like I have 2 pr of 16ga Titanium that will go up on ebay in the next day or so. But, they are already made. (I forgot Drix of CalontirTrim had them.)

One is the 90%/small size.

The other is 110%/large in width and 100%/medium in length.

I normally sell them at $300 a pr and will start them at $200 a pr.

Also, unless someone knows of a place for me to buy 16ga Ti and a semi-reasonable price... these will be the last for a while. My recent quotes on a whole sheet has wondered over into the rediculous.

Thanks!

Sigh, here I thought it would be a slowwww week. Dang shop Gremlin must have heard me!

Anyway, the 2 on ebay will probably be it for Stainless for a little bit. Adrixos of CalontirTrim.com will have a few, at times, if someone needs past the end of those auctions.

Oh, Titanium ones... hmmm... should do another post.

laters!
