Oswyn,
Tell your friend that if he is looking for a helmet for SCA combat, not to waste his money. I really don't think that would pass inspection. And if it did, I'm sure it wouldn't hold up very long at all.

Thanks Os - I'll let you check it out if i win. I figure if i cut the ridiculus nasal off it, i can use for my kid for YC stuff! I should be able to work to a plausable nasal out aluminum or somthin'.

Actually, I dont know the buyer at all. I was more commenting on the part where he said he didnt know anything about it, and feel free to send him more information. You have a kid who wants to do YC, Adric? When did this happen (and how did I miss it)?

It happened about 9yrs ago and i think you missed it cause we had the lights off!
He goes to bed at 8 on school nights. So taking him to practice on school nites doesn't work. after the hour drive i usually get home around 10-11.
And this shit head is going to see what we get for 50$$$! It can't be too hard to modify and looking at the other indian helms like this by sellers who know somthing aboout them list them as 18 ga mild. Snip off the nasty nasal and remove that silly brass but plug looking thing bolted on the top and it should be passable. If all else fails ya'll will see right back on ebay!

It arived today.
A+ for shipping and packing.
C for materials 18ga mild covered in no rust grease
F+ for workmaship
Its a spun top with spang strips added. The bar grill will fit a flat faced person well. There are some huge gaps at the sides between the back and cheeks. It should be easy enough to do some mods to make it kid worthy but not worth the money otherwise.
