I've ordered from several different folks here over the years and I figured it was time to see who was still active.

Right now my next clothing buy will probably be in the February range (assuming funds come available) so I figured it would be good to start shopping and then check estimates.

What is your primary time period of interest? I'm currently doing custom and semi-custom clothing and accessories. My primary interests/knowledge would be Viking-era and 13th - 14th c.

I too would like to find out who is still actively making garb. My former lady used to make all of mine but now she is gone and the only thing I miss about her is her ability to sew.

genri-Celt- wode everywhere, pajama pants from Walmart, bright green flip flops, no shirt, and bitching through your ciggerette "hey it's early period" if anyone asks what you are supposed to be.

Rick Ford's wife Chrissy (the cook), is making custom clothing if you want to keep your money in Alaska... wait... that's right , you moved!

Then again... If I recall she was going to come up with a list of period implements she wanted me to build for her before I had to relocate and she had mentioned barter...

i mainly do renaisance and modern cotoure work, mainly custom pieces on everything , but have done just about every period out there and have been doing alot in the arena of non period sport reinactor gear as of late , period designs with modern sport fabrics . . .the horor

My business is active on and off (life permitting, dontcha know). I do mostly late medieval with a specialty in arming coats. Custom fitting will be challenging if you're in the middle of the country since I'm on the West Coast and my co-conspirator Marcele is on the East, but if you want something that can be done by the numbers like Bocksten tunics and hose and such, that's easy.

Klaus made me a gored supertunic and an undertunic sight unseen from measurements I sent him and they fit perfectly, YMMV, but I'd trust him and will buy from him for sure again. I was completely happy with the transaction, his communication and the product.

Most of the "Celt" stuff I have done is all based on Roman Era finds.
