Breast and back for sale

The following item was, like everything I end up selling here, made for me, by me. In this case it was a project simply to see if it could be done, because I had attempted it when I started a few years ago and failed miserably. This one at least came out workable. It is street sign aluminum, legally obtained, with a brush finish. Very hard, very light, and for anything but sword and shield work you don't even notice you're wearing it- warning though, at least on me it is a bit wide- not as wide as period examples, but it still gets in the way of extreme contortions of the arm. Not that you would use a shield with the harness that goes with this anyway...

I am asking $200, and the buyer is responsible for shipping. It fits me with a light gambeson. My dimensions are:

5' 11" tall
Chest: 42"
Waist 34"

If you need other measurements I can get them but as of right now I am 2 hours away from this toy- it is in storage at home as my room mate here thinks my stuff takes up too much room anyway. If I have a buyer by then, I will ship it Monday of next week. That will be the earliest I will be able to get it out.

Thanks for looking.

Well... gauge.

I'm not really sure how to quantify that. It is most certainly thicker than 14 ga., most likely it is in the range of 10 or 12. It's street sign aluminum, as I said. Having said that, aluminum is also only one third the density of steel, so it's still light for what it is. It is also fairly dent resistant- I can't, and trust me, I tried. It work hardened nicely.

There are two others who expressed interest but they both have "if" factors. I will know this weekend if it is still available, or if it's gone.

God, I hate my dorm room sometimes...
