Titanium coif by master Knuut

Post by Cet »

I've got a customer switching periods who needs to sell his Titanium flat ring coif from Knuut. It's Knuut,s standard coif as pictured at WeldedChainmail.com These retail for $335. He'd like $315 for this one including shipping.

If interested contact me via the e-mail in my profile.

You may have the price wrong. I think it goes for $275 on Knuut's site.

Nah, stainless is $275 the titanium is $335 but $20(6%) off for used isn't super exciting IMO.

correct...it's the aventail that goes for 275, not the coif.

I'd think a "used" coif would be worth fairly close to full price, but maybe knock 'er down to an even 3 Benjamins and she'd move.

I agree. Titanium amail doesn't really go bad :) Theres' definitely some room move if anyone wants to make an offer. He needs to get most of his money out of it though to buy the mail fauld and short aventail he needs for the new rig (without his wife killing him) :)

I'd consider throwing in a set of RFH tops to sweeten the deal if that works for anyone.

Honestly, I think anything from Knutt would stay at close to full price. :)

My old aventail I had on my old bascinet had never lost a ring I could find in the 10 years I had it.

If it wasnt for the fact, I am 5th cent now, and wasnt playing the 14th cent game anymore, i would pick this baby up.

My Bad! I thought it was an aventail.

I have had two welded avantails by Knuut over the years-- one in mild and one in stainless. They are both solid and have never lost a single ring. Both are currently in use today. You cannot go wrong with his stuff.

Still available. The sooner it sells the sooner I can complete my vision and get this guy into a nice right-thinking 1390ish German rig. :D

Hi V,

I believe the guy's prefrence is for cash but I will ask him. He bought the coif, wore it a couple times, and then decided on later stuff. Spending more on mail after using the coif so little puts him in danger from his wife. Who hunts :D

I should be talking to him in the next few days.

Cheers

One more time for $300 and I'll throw in some RFH stuff to sweeten the deal.
