At Estrella, I picked up my gorget as well as one I got made for my nephew from Torvaldr. The quality and general awesomeness are what I expected based on my Torvaldr gauntlets. The fit is even better. I've never had a gorget on that didn't make me feel like I was being choked until this one. There are quite a few reviews of Torvaldr's armouring and since they all agree, that's all I'll say on the gorgets. When I picked them up, my wife wanted saw his CDs and wanted one. We got the Viking Home Companion/Radio Free Valhalla combination CD. When we got back to camp it got packed away. I dug it out tonight to listen to it and it's great. The songs are good. Torvaldr's voice is very nice. The humor is very funny. I will be picking up his other CD soon and recommend the CD to everyone. The only negative I have on it at all is that it would be nice with musical accompaniment.

I got to meet Torvaldr at estrella too. What a nice fellow! His armor is real sweet in person and he's right quick to shake your hand and be friendly too.
Very cool!

I got to use the bauzabands last week finally that I bought from him a while back. Superb, the fit was perfect, they didn't slide down my arm, light as can be and tough. A little to large to use as hidden armor but hey they kinda blend into the background as simple black leather against my black gambeson. Thanks Torvaldr great work.

You are all welcome guys! I am a little late in getting my thank you's out from Estrella. I love meeting the folks that buy my armor or CDs. It was a real joy to see house Starkhad all together as a unit wearing tooled bazubands from me (one of my last tooled projects). I was also great to get to meet folks in person I had only talked to on the Archive. Ingvar, Animal, and several others who came by.
I wish I could have musical accompaniment on my CDs, but that takes more money than I have available for musicians. But who knows, one day I may be able to pull it together.

I did find some karaoke music for one of the songs on Ragnarok and Roll. I may see if I can find the same for the Christmas song filks. Or better yet I may see if one of the local chorus's at one of the community colleges might be willing to sing some of them.
