Dragonforge stainless Viking helm for sale - price drop!

This helmet was made for me by Ben Scheiner of Dragon Forge Armory several years ago. Since I could never quite get it to fit properly, it has seen no actual combat use past a single sword blow. It's made of 14 ga. stainless steel with a brass ridge and goggles. The back slats have had ridges raised in them for additional strength. The helm is unpunched, ready for you to strap in the fashion you desire. Measurements as follows:

Browline, side to side: 8.125"
Browline, front to back: 10.625"
Slat length from browline: 6"
Interior circumference @ browline: 28.5"
Browline to crest from side, interior: 7.5"
Interior crestline, front to back: 17.25"
Interior height from browline to crest: 5.75:
Face length: 7"

Photos of the helmet can be seen in the album at

I purchased this helm back in 2001 for $370, but more recent incarnations of the Armory's site have offered it for close to $400. I'm now looking for $210, delivery included. if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask!

Giving Steinn a bump 'cause hes a friend but more importantly because it's a good solid helm that shouldn't be ignored.

I used to have one of Ben's Viking Helms. They are solid and well built helms. Anyone would be lucky to pick up this helm.

Ben and Todd made my Sutton Hoo helm, I can add that thier work is very good, some of the best out there in stainless. I love my helm, still use it today.

I have an almost identical twin to this helmet and love it. Ben does great work. It's really a steal at $225. I can't believe it hasn't been snatched up.

Damn it, I hate ebay with extreme prejudice(very nasty experiance a few years ago). I would give you $130 right now for a bid if it was being auctioned here. Anyways best of luck, I am sure it will get snatched up quick there.
