Hey guys, I just wanted to let you all know I will be out of town from Monday the 9th until Friday the 13th. You know what, I didn't realize it was "Friday the 13th" until I just typed it. Hmmm....
Anyway, we are taking the laptop and hopefully the internet connection works at the hotel. If you email me during that time and I don't get back with you, it probably means it wasn't working and I will be sure to get back with you once we get home.
Thanks,
Cat

Hehe

I don't mind at all if I get emails. I'm just not sure if I will have access, so I thought I had better post a message. Coincidentally, we will be in your neck of the woods as we are going to Disney World. We're flying in late Monday, hittin' Universal, Epcot, and Magic Kingdom, and then leaving early Friday. I wish we had more time to hang out down there, but since the dog is sick, we can't leave her for very long. If we had more time, maybe we could have met up somewhere.

That is a shame you do not have more time here. I live in downtown Orlando which is 20 minutes at tops from all of the theme parks. Would have been nice to meet up one night for dinner. Love for you to meet my wife and son. Be nice to meet the family that lives with super mom!
It is Thursday morning. If you get a chance to read this while in hotel room or whereever and yu want to meet up for a bite let me know. even later in the evening. My 4 yr old stays up way to late anyway

Heya Steve,
I'm sorry I didn't get back to you sooner. I didn't get your message until we got back. I appreciate your offer! I wish we could have gotten together. If we go down there again, I will let you know and maybe we can arrange something.
Thanks!

We had a good time on our trip, but now I think there are some things we would have changed. We ended up going to Epcot, which my daughter and I enjoyed (the rest were bored), Universal, which we all liked, and Magic Kingdom, which was pretty boring except for a few things. If we were to go again, I think we'd go to Universal and MGM, and then maybe keep a day for shopping and sight seeing. There was a "swim with the dolphins" attraction there (can't remember the name - maybe Discovery Reef?) that I would like to go to also.
The hotel was ok (Days Inn International), but their "free shuttle service" sucked. They only had one drop off time and one pick up time for each park. The drop off time was usually a couple hours after the park opened, and the pick up time was usually before the park closed. In the case of Magic Kingdom, pick up time was like 8:45 PM and the park didn't close until midnight. We only used the hotel shuttle once, and due to the numerous stops it made on the way, it took about an hour to get there. After that, we took the city bus to MK, and we walked to Universal because it was close.
Despite some of the disappointments mentioned above, we all enjoyed ourselves and I'm really glad we went!
