Canvas on front is drying.

Shields for MattyD-
Canvas pieces on backs are drying. One has had one front coat of hardener.

Rasping off edges of all paid-in-full orders tonight.

Need to buy more canvas.

Yeah

Some dude called my house tonight at 9pm.

He said "Is this the shieldworks?"

I thought he said "Is this the Sheldons?" or some other name, so I said "no" and hung up...I thought he was a telemarketer.

Then he called again, but didn't leave a msg, so I called his number.

He didn't even tell me what he wanted! It was too late..we were yelling at each other. We ended up telling each other off and hanging up. Anybody know who this guy was?

Man, I feel terrible about this. He called at 9PM and I never have had a shield-related call past 5. I thought he was a telemarketer!! I called him back (I do this to telemarketers so I can yell at them) and he never told me who he was or what he wanted until I was so mad I could have popped an eyeball.
I feel like shit about this but I just don't have the heart to call him again.

Vitus, I got the shields today, safe and sound. They look fantastic and will be easy to carry around. Your job on the heraldry was excellent. I love the way the crosses look.

Strangely, just looking at another thread I noticed that Klaus the Red here on the archive is from Sunnyvale.

Maybe him, or maybe he knows the number?

It's very much to your credit, Sir Vitus, that you're trying to rectify and make amends. More than a few merchants would write off something like that and not lose any sleep over it.

A goodly number of fighters came out to BSR. I think it was a total near 150. From my vantage, the fighting was excellent.

Yep- been out here since September 06. And no, I was not the mystery caller (Vitus and I already figured this out), nor am I aware of any other local fighters living in Sunnyvale- just the other surrounding burbs.

I am happy to report that yesterday I received my ordered shield, as well as the additional shield Sir Vitus graciously provided due the delay in my order.

I will do a proper review once I get them fitted out, but they look like they will be perfect. I'm really looking forward to fighting with them.
