Question for Cet
Dave,
What gauges of metal do you use for your fanless knee and elbow cops, as well as the shoulder cops? If I want to place an order, should I just email you at the addy. from your website? Can you do knees in 14 gauge mild or 16 GA stainless? Elbowa and shoulders in 16 GA SS?
Thanks!

Thanks Agnarr
are they the same pattern as the regular cops, with the fan removed? Also, I was wondering why the fan less knee is more expensive than the fanned version?
The elbow is pretty since the body of the cop and not the fan covers the required 3 points of the elbow so the fanless elbow is not as long as the fanned elbow. The knees are different: the fan on the stock fanned knee pattern covers the outside point of the knee so the fannless knee has to be the same length as the fanned knee and since it doesn't have the material cut away to form the fan shape on one side it uses more material than the fanned knee.
In other words, the fanned elbow is smaller than the fannless elbow but the fannless knee is actually a little bigger than the fanned knee. This effects the price on the stainless and not the mild because at around $3/lb the extra material cost for the stainless is enough to make a difference.
