...all around artisan.
I cannot speak highly enough of Aaron. His talent in item-craft far surpasses mine in word-craft.
Months ago I purchased a second hand Rondel from him, to which he matched a simple sheath to match a pouch I had ordered from Phil Fraser. With only seeing a picture online of the pouch, he was able to match it near perfectly.
So a short amount of time passed, and I realized I needed a belt of matching fashion to hand said pouch and dagger from, I gave him a rough idea of what I wanted, and he delivered a wonderful product. Which again nearly matched the coloring and style of the other, close enough to look great, but not a cookie cutter match.
Again soon after I asked him about garters, to hold up my hose. And again I asked for them to be of the same vein as my other leather goods.
Once again Aaron delivered an amazing product, that again looked to belong to the same set, but were not exact matches.
He is now working on other products for me, of a 15th century bent, but I am sure that he could produce an item from any era with perfect execution.
Aaron is on of a very few people that I put my complete trust in. I tell him roughly what I am looking for, and have 100% faith that his artistic talent is will deliver something wonderful. I have yet to be disappointed, and feel that I never will be by Aaron. I feel confident enough in his talent to give him full artistic license on any project I put to him.
I cannot wait to have enough money to order an Albion sword so that he can craft the scabbard for it. Nor can I wait to discover other things that I can try to get him to make for me!
*pictures to follow late tonight*
