Hi,
I have this body armour that I made about 14 years ago and it's been sitting in my shop since 1999. I did use it frequently from 1996-99, it will fit a 6'-0", 195-215 pound person, it is a 14GA stainless BP, mostly polished to a 100 grit finish with the waiste articulation lame and 1 fauld lame, the back is 16GA with the shaping unfinished, at current local stainless prices, there is almost $70 in materials here. The only catch is that I need to close the auction at 8AM PDT on Monday. I would like to start the bidding at $150, the winner will pay shipping by whatever method they prefer.
The situation is that I try to run my business as professionally and efficiently as possible and feel it's my problem to deal with issues as they come up, but since Thursday the 17th through this morning, I had 14 official orders placed with my shop via the arm/leg sale and only 2 of the orders during that time frame were paid for, with 4 bad checks after I bought the materials. There was a time that you could count on a 90-95% payment rate for an official order and hence, I stopped marketing with the confidence that I had another month of bills in hand and feeling that it was unfair to my clients to book any more work. I only needed 5 of the 14 to pay to get through May's rent, and I could not even get that. Thank you to Gareth and Stronbow for placing orders this morning and paying for them
.
So good luck and happy bidding.
Eric
