Hello,

I picked this up years back. Its not really my area of experience, I cant remember the name of the blade (I am sure I will get help with it :) I was told it was from the early 1700's others have said late 1600's. It shows signs of use and has gold/brass/bronze? inlay near the tang.

If anyone has any info on this please feel free to share, correct or add. As I said I am not up on my later period sword research, so all info welcome.

It measures 34" overall, 27.5" blade and approx 50" with the display stand.

Figured I would offer it up here first. When I get home from the shop the best reasonable offer takes it. Feel free to PM offers.

Thanks,

O'Quinn

Looks like an 18th Century smallsword blade.

Too bad for the damage - that would have made a beautiful smallsword.

Neat study piece, though. :)
