I have a rather nice bascinet with a liftable visor. It needs a camaille/aventail to be complete.

I'm new to this accessory, but I know that it's attached to the bottom of the helm and up the sides of the face opening with little fittings called vervelles.

Who makes these (the mail, not the vervelles) in stainless riveted or welded rings?

We use the ones from Knuut pretty heavily and for durability in SCA fighting, they are the best. We do sell them individually as well, Here and we sell verveilles as well.

I can do welded stainless steel (or titanium if you're willing to wait about a month) aventails with finishes anywhere from dark matte to polished or anywhere in-between.
