CLOSED: WMA Stainless 2 Panel Spangenhelm

This helm was made for me by Adam at WMA about 3 years ago. It's stainless steel with a brass nasal. I have never fought in it, only padded it and admired it. It will fit a 24" to 24.5" head with medium padding. I will include a fresh, never fought in or sweated on chin strap.

I am asking $500 out the door, shipped to you (within the continental US ONLY).

I hate to part with this helm but I've lost a lot of weight since it was first made for me and apparently I had a very fat head.

These are the only pics I had handy. I'll take less grainy ones when I get home this evening.

(edit: I spoke to Adam at WMA and he says this helm would cost between $650 and $700 to do now. I'm glad I got it when I did.)

When you say medium padding what thickness are you talking about?

By medium I mean slightly more than minimal (not being a smart arse). When I first got this helm I could only use minimal padding due to the chunkiness of my head and face.

So, 1/2" to 5/8" around the brow. I have 5/8" strips along the jaw and back.

Use your refund check to protect your head in style and help Wallace's economy !!! :D Just to add, I have seen this helm in person, and it is awesome. It is surprisingly light. I have to say that, it will probably be best fit on a 24"-24.5" grape, though.

Thanks James. You're absolutely right on the sizing.
