I took a sewing tape measure to it. The inside is 27" around. front to back is 10.5" and from side to side is 8" I hope that helps.

A gentlemen from this board just emailled me and asked if I could wait a week. So if might be sold. I have no problem giving a person a chance to get dough together. heck I have asked the same question more than once myself to an armourer. LOL

Stephen,
A buddy of mine asked me about this helm. Is it mild or stainless? 14g throughout?
All in all a very pretty helm, also what time period/culture is that....I'm think 14thc German? My knowledge of helmets sometimes embarrasses me.

It is 14G mild throughout. I would have to say it was more prevelant in german regions and surrounding. I would venture to say it was late 1400's into the 1500's Like you I am not to terribaly versed in this but my minimal looking produced that when I was first looking at this helmet
